Calling all AQAns,

The Nominations Committee encourages you to run or sign up for a position on the AQA board!

This 2020 election season we have three open balloted positions (2020-2022): Co-Chair, Secretary, and Communications Director. If you have any questions about these positions and the work that they require, please feel free to reach out to the Nominations Committee Co-Chairs Casey Miller (caseymiller@muhlenberg.edu) or Justin Perez (jdaperez@ucsc.edu), or contact the current officers to find out more:
AQA Co-Chairs: Jay Sosa (jaysosa@gmail.com) and Eric Plemons (eplemons@email.arizona.edu)
Secretary: Jenny Davis (loksi@illinois.edu)
Communications Director: Nessette Falu (Nessette.Falu@ucf.edu)

If you would like to throw your hat in the ring for any of these balloted positions, please let us know by Friday, February 8 so that we can collect your required ballot information (including a short biographical sketch, platform statement, and optional photo). All ballot information is due by Friday, February 15.

In addition to these elected positions, there are also many other ways to be involved in the association as a member of one of our committees. This is a great way to learn more about AQA and get involved in the work that we do. Right now the Payne Prize Committee is looking for volunteers to read graduate and undergraduate student papers. If you would like to learn more, please contact Payne Prize Committee Chair, Ricky Martin, at rjmartinjr@gmail.com.

Thanks, and we hope to hear from you soon!
