The Department of Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies (WGSS) at
Barnard College, Columbia University invites applications for a
tenure-track Assistant Professorship to commence in Fall 2018.
Applicants must have a PhD in hand by the start of the appointment.

We seek an interdisciplinary scholar of gender and/or sexuality studies with a specialization in some combination of the following fields: race and ethnicity, non-Western and/or indigenous studies, cultural or social history, critical theory, media and visual culture, science and technology studies, studies of social activism. Significant teaching experience and record of publications preferred.
