The Gender, Sexuality, and Feminist Studies Program at Duke University seeks applications for a tenure-track position at the assistant professor rank in Black Feminism and/or Feminist Studies of Race to begin in August 2018. We are open to a variety of disciplinary, interdisciplinary, and methodological approaches that explore the relationships among gender, sexuality, and race. Teaching feminist theories on both graduate and undergraduate levels is expected. Applicants should have completed a Ph.D. or expect to complete one by July 1, 2018. The department strongly encourages applications from women and members of underrepresented minorities. The appointment is 100% within the Gender, Sexuality, and Feminist Studies Program.
